Our volunteers

To help the Dorothy Miles Cultural Centre achieve the vision of enhancing communication and understanding between deaf and hearing people, there is a wonderful team of volunteers providing a variety of skills and heaps of enthusiasm for the many activities held by the organisation.

These volunteers are from the deaf and hearing communities working together to achieve Dorothy's vision. Friends of the DMCC are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers and fund-raisers to help with the wide range of activities we run.

We are currently looking for people to join our board of trustees so that we can continue to provide BSL tuition, deaf awareness and events such as our popular children's activity days and signed poetry. For more information please click on the link on the right hand side of this page.
